A Work In Progress

This is a work in progress - when I get to 20 I'll think more about putting them in order.  Please let me know what you think in the comments underneath each posting.

17 - Religion

This is the really BIG one. Actually, the jury is still out on this, just to be safe!  But it can't be denied that religion has been at the root of so much war, trouble and unrest across the whole world throughout the whole of history.  Currently, it seems to me that religion is something created by man because of his own insecurity.

16 - Tabloid Newspapers

The tabloids tell the working people what to think, what's important and what their morals should be - that's why the UK is in so much of a mess in terms of anti-social behaviour, manners and social responsibility.  British society's morals and standard are at an all time low, largely thanks to the media of which the tabloid newspapers are at the forefront.

15 - Recreational Drugs

I don't think many people would disagree with me on this one

14 - Football

Ah, the beautiful game, played by the biggest cheats and uncouths of all sportsmen and women. Here's ten personal hates just for football:

1. Shirt pulling
2. Diving
3. Defenders holding out arms to prevent a forward moving
4. Claiming innocence
5. Arguing with the referee
6. Spitting and chewing
7. 'Shepherding' the ball out of play (obstruction)
8. Tattoos, diamond earrings and other jewelry
9. Badge and ring kissing
10. Wearing thermal 'body armour' which is longer than the shirt or shorts

But perhaps my biggest gripe is the fact that they are so overpaid and spoilt.

13 - Bottled water

Phone, chewing gum, ipod, bottled water - yeah, I'm ready to go out.

12 - Tattoos

One of my mottos is 'never do anything you can't undo' and tattoos pretty much go against that philosophy. I wonder how many people in the world regret getting their stupid tattoos when they were younger simply on a whim?

11 - Fast Food

McDonalds, McDonalds, Kentucky Fried Chicken and a Pizza Hut - the national anthem of many young people today.  Some kids even think these places actually are restaurants!

10 - Microwave Ovens

Microwave ovens - some people think that warming frozen food up is actually cooking.

9 - Fashion

The Fashion Police should have eliminated all fashion by now.

8 - Money

Money is the root of all evil. Actually the love of money is the root of all evil.

7 - Cigarettes

People are so stupid and cigarettes prove this fact.

6 - Chewing Gum

Why did the chewing gum cross the road - because it was stuck to the chicken's foot. Says it all.

5 - Cars

Cars have made so many people's lives hell.  Without cars we'd all have to work in place where we live - wouldn't that be so much better?  And we wouldn't have houses with five cars parked all over the place outside them because everyone who lives there has their own.

Television - the one eyed monster in the corner of everyone's room.

2 - Computers

Computers are infuriating.  They always do what someone else wants (the programmer) and not what you want.

1 - Mobile 'Phones

Mobile Phones are the bane of humanity.  An invention where 99% of their use is pointless and unnecessary.
